Where are my list-makers at?

Are you an Overachieving Perfectionist?

Do you pack your schedule day after day and never complete your never-ending to-do list? Do you wake up early or stay up late trying to check items off your list? Do you constantly run from meeting to meeting trying to get everything done? Aren't you exhausted??

I've been there. I was an obsessive daily list maker (and I do still love lists). But seeing blank check marks at the end of the day just made me feel bad about myself. There was never enough time to do all the things I felt like I needed to do. Day after day, week after week, the time was slipping by and I still felt like I was just barely getting by. I would get things done, but nothing was done with quality. I wasn't making any real progress. If I wanted it all, I had to do it all. All by myself. Because my way was the best way.

If this is you right now, I'm here to tell you this.

Your expectations of "doing it all" are unrealistic. Things won't ever be done. There will ALWAYS be things to do. Your desire to take care of everyone and everything shows how caring you are. You want everyone to succeed and be happy. But what about yourself? It's not sustainable and you're burning yourself out the more you don't add "take care of myself" to your list. The finish line just keeps moving further and further away.

And although my clients are still organized and managing a lot (and awesome, by the way), with coaching, they:

  • realize they can't fill from an empty cup - they now take the time to take care of themself.

  • create boundaries around their time and energy, so they're okay with saying NO.

  • feel more aligned with the things they do because they have a stronger sense of themselves.

  • have tools in their toolbox to take out when they feel themselves slipping back into old habits.

As a Certified Coach to Overachieving Perfectionists, I'm committed to help you learning tools to add your take-care-of list. My goal is to help you:

  • discover yourself

  • create balance

  • build confidence
